Job summary

Huntswood Group in Durban is seeking a customer-focused claims assistant to handle insurance claims queries from our international client base. You will be the key contact, processing cases from start to finish and ensuring timely, fair resolutions.

The role requires clear English, attention to detail, and strong numerical skills, with 1-2 years in insurance claims. You will work in a fast-paced team, lodge claims, update records, and provide world-class service.

Qualifications

• National Senior Certificate is required.
• Clear Credit and Criminal record is required.
• 1-2 years' experience in Insurance Claims (International).
• Proven experience in the insurance space.
• Proven track record of high performance.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the customer's interests come first while delivering exceptional service.
• Handle both outbound and inbound calls and manage cases from start to finish.
• Lodge claims, update details and make adjustments or cancellations as needed.
• Communicate effectively to resolve complaints in a timely manner.
