Job summary

Weekday AI is seeking an accomplished Strategic Financial Leader to co-own the Group's long-term plans with the Group MD/CEO. You will shape capital structure, funding choices and dividend policy while guiding capital allocation and valuation across the portfolio.

The role includes overseeing budgeting, IFRS reporting, cost analytics and produce board-ready packs. You will lead finance across multiple subsidiaries, drive ERP adoption and elevate financial governance across the group.

Responsibilities

• Co-own the Group's strategic and business plans with the Group MD/CEO, ensuring financial rigour underpins growth and diversification decisions.
• Lead the development of the Group's medium- and long-term financial strategy, including capital structure and funding mix.
• Advise the Board on capital allocation, investment appraisal, pricing strategy and margin management.
• Evaluate and lead M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships, including due diligence and post-transaction integration.
• Oversee annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and long-range planning for the Group and subsidiaries.
• Ensure IFRS-compliant consolidated statements and management accounts for Board and regulators.
• Drive cost analytics to protect and improve margins across manufacturing and input costs.
• Deliver Board-ready reporting packs, KPI dashboards and variance analysis.
