Job summary

Dante Personnel seeks an experienced International Sales Leader to drive export revenue and expand markets from Randburg. You will manage relationships with international customers and distributors, identify new opportunities, and lead the export sales team through complex logistics and documentation.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and deep knowledge of export regulations, with travel to international markets as needed.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent minimum.
• Tertiary qualifications will be advantageous.
• 5–10 years’ sales experience, preferably at management level.
• Proven experience managing international/export sales operations.
• Strong leadership and people management experience.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, business development and revenue growth.
• Solid knowledge of export procedures, customs regulations and international logistics.
• Experience with extensive international business travel.
• Knowledge of polymers, textiles and plastics advantageous.
• Strong commercial and business acumen.
• Able to work across cultures and international markets.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Valid driver’s license plus own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute international sales strategies to grow export revenue and market share.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with international customers and distributors.
• Identify new export markets and business development opportunities.
• Lead, mentor and develop the International Sales team.
• Manage export documentation, customs compliance, permits and shipping requirements.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs officials and internal departments.
• Resolve export, logistics, documentation and customs-related challenges.
• Develop sales targets, forecast demand and negotiate commercial agreements.
