Job summary

Jackie Cory Recruitment is assisting a citrus exporter in Gqeberha to appoint an International Export Customer Accounts Coordinator. You will manage customer service, shipment tracking and export documentation for Canada, Far East and Russia.

The role requires a degree in Logistics or related field, advanced Excel skills, and meticulous attention to detail. Experience with export processes and ERP systems is advantageous. On-site role in Gqeberha.

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills, including managing complex spreadsheets and large data sets.
• Excellent written English and professional communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and organisational ability.
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines and independently follow up on outstanding tasks and payments.

Responsibilities

• Track export shipments, vessel ETAs, delays and documentation, maintaining accurate reports and customer trackers.
• Liaise with international customers regarding shipment updates, queries, requests and regular reporting.
• Prepare and verify invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and other export documentation.
• Monitor retailer purchase orders, quality reports, sales estimates and shipment records.
• Prepare and reconcile sales accounts, track customer payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Monitor customer remittances, quality claims and retailer yield reports before finalising accounts.
• Coordinate customer meetings, price confirmations and market updates with internal commercial teams.
• Assist with grower loading data, invoicing and export programme registration requirements.
• Work closely with logistics, finance, quality control and documentation teams to ensure efficient export processes.
