Takealot.com in Cape Town is seeking a highly talented Commercial Partnership Manager – Cross-Border to build and scale relationships with aggregator platforms that source international sellers for the Takealot marketplace.

The role combines commercial partnerships with cross-border e-commerce expertise, requiring effective negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing partner management to drive seller activation and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, International Trade, or a related field.
• 5+ years in strategic partnerships, business development or channel sales in e-commerce or cross-border sectors.
• Experience with payment platforms or marketplace aggregators.

Responsibilities

• Map global and regional aggregator platforms; build a prioritized partner pipeline.
• Lead negotiations with aggregator partners, including referral fees and co-marketing.
• Develop onboarding materials and go-to-market toolkits for partners.
• Manage relationships and conduct regular business reviews with partners.
• Collaborate on joint acquisition campaigns and promotional programs.
• Ensure SARS VAT and customs compliance alignment with partners.
• Define KPIs and report partner performance; drive improvements.
• Stay informed on competing aggregator programs and provide insights.
