Job summary

IQVIA Inc in Centurion, South Africa, is seeking a Clinical Project Manager to lead regional and global clinical studies in Global Study Leadership. You will partner with sponsors and cross-functional teams to deliver studies on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

You will develop study management plans, manage timelines and risks, ensure ICH-GCP compliance, and foster sponsor relationships while guiding team members in a fast-paced, matrixed environment across therapeutic areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare or related scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of clinical research experience including project management within CRO/pharma/biotech.
• Experience leading clinical studies, workstreams or cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial conduct, ICH-GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage timelines, risks, quality, budgets and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of regional and global clinical studies or assigned study workstreams from start-up through close-out.
• Build strong relationships with sponsors, serving as a primary project contact and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and study objectives.
• Develop and execute study management plans to support successful study delivery.
• Manage study timelines, budgets, quality, risks and operational performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive proactive issue resolution, risk mitigation and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful study outcomes.
• Support financial oversight, forecasting, change control and vendor management activities where applicable.
• Ensure studies are delivered in compliance with ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, SOPs and contractual commitments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through lessons learned and best-practice sharing.
