Qualifications

• Relevant marketing qualification or working towards one.
• Strong team management and mentoring skills (including remote management).
• Deep knowledge of the regional marketplace.
• Experience in a multi-site, multi-national, professional services environment.
• Experience in a partnership environment in South Africa.
• Experience in sector market segmenting, preferably infrastructure/projects/energy.

Responsibilities

• Work with the global BD team to support lawyers in BD activities, including strategy, client targeting, credentials, and events.
• Develop BD and marketing plans for South Africa and relevant groups, aligning with firm priorities.
• Collaborate with Africa Steering Group to build relationships across Sub-Saharan Africa.
• Build profile and brand in South Africa through communication channels, media, sponsorships, and events.
• Manage delivery of BD activity plans, coordinating with partners and offices.
• Identify key market influencers and develop engagement plans to expand regional connectivity.
