Job description

As a German Customer Service Travel Advisor, you will act as the principal contact point for global travelers, delivering top-tier support through phone, online chat, and email platforms. In this position, you will administer bookings, flight adjustments, and cancellations while actively resolving problems to maintain seamless trips for clients. This position presents persistent skill enhancement and professional advancement options in an energetic, international travel sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Experience: Supply high-caliber service across all communication avenues, taking full accountability for client inquiries from start to finish.


• Issue Resolution: Practice active listening regarding customer complaints, diffuse difficult situations with composure, and offer inventive, effective answers.


• Account & Booking Management: Confirm and update user profile information while accurately executing flight and vacation plan changes.


• Clear Communication: Convey intricate travel policies and steps in a simple, easily digestible manner in both German and English.


• Operational Excellence: Preserve high standards of output, precision, and promptness when processing complex inquiries and administrative responsibilities.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum Grade 12 / Matric certificate.


• Language Proficiency: Full command of written and spoken German and English.


• Experience: No less than 12 months in a global call center setup, OR prior experience in airline ticketing or a travel agency setting.


• Background Check: Clear criminal record alongside a clean credit record.


• Skills: Strong active listening abilities, conflict management, priority organization, and the capacity to keep calm during stressful situations.

Working Hours & Location

• Work Arrangement: Fully on-site.


• Location: 19 Hertzog Boulevard, Cape Town.


• Schedule: 5 days each week, 8 hours each day (40 hours per week).


• Working Hours: Variable shifts running from 09:00 AM until 02:00 AM SAST.


• Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday (Rotational basis).

Remuneration & Benefits

• Base Salary: R 20,000.00 monthly.


• Night Shift Allowance: Applied to any working time falling after 7:00 PM.


• Transport Subsidy: Partially funded one-way transit option offered (Company funds the subsidy; employee copay is R315).
