• Provide input for mine design, open-pit stability, and underground excavations.

• Perform peer reviews of designs and calculations.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and foundation engineering.


• Proficiency with geotechnical software for analysis and modeling (e.g., GeoStudio suite, Plaxis, FLAC).


• Experience in numerical modeling and advanced analytical techniques.


• Strong report writing and communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.


• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to remote mine sites and project locations in and around **Rustenburg**.


• Knowledge of South African mining regulations and environmental considerations.
