The position requires a Civil Engineering degree with a geotechnical focus, Pr Eng registration, and 7+ years of coastal/geotechnical experience, plus proficiency in PLAXIS or GeoStudio.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical specialization.
  • Professional registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng).
  • Minimum 7 years of geotechnical experience, coastal or marine projects preferred.
  • Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute geotechnical investigations, including soil sampling, in-situ testing, and laboratory analysis.
  • Provide foundation design recommendations for buildings, bridges, port structures, and other civil projects.
  • Analyze slope stability, settlement, and soil-structure interaction for coastal/marine environments.
  • Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, specifications, and construction drawings.
  • Collaborate with project teams, clients, and regulators to ensure designs meet requirements and environmental standards.

About the Role

This role is essential for assessing ground conditions, providing foundation designs, and ensuring the stability of structures in challenging coastal environments. You will conduct site investigations, analyze geotechnical data, and develop practical solutions for port developments, coastal defenses, and offshore structures. Key Responsibilities
