About the Role

This role is vital for the identification and characterization of subsurface geological structures and hydrocarbon reservoirs. The successful candidate will leverage advanced seismic data processing and interpretation techniques to support exploration and development activities. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for a blend of on-site collaboration and remote work flexibility. You will work closely with geologists, reservoir engineers, and other geoscientists to build integrated subsurface models and evaluate exploration opportunities. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare clear and concise technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for exploration and management teams.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in geophysical techniques, software, and industry best practices.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of seismic data acquisition and processing strategies.
• Mentor junior geophysicists and share expertise within the team.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Geophysics, Geology, or a related earth science field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in seismic data interpretation within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven expertise in 2D and 3D seismic interpretation, structural geology, and stratigraphic analysis.
• Proficiency with industry-standard seismic interpretation software.
• Strong understanding of seismic data acquisition, processing, and modeling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with quantitative seismic interpretation techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with the geological setting of the region is advantageous.
