About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and analytical Geophysicist to join their exploration team based in Queenstown , with a hybrid work arrangement. You will be responsible for designing, acquiring, and interpreting geophysical data to identify and delineate potential mineral deposits. This role requires a strong understanding of various geophysical methods (seismic, magnetic, gravity, electrical) and their application in geological exploration. You will work closely with geologists and other geoscientists to integrate geophysical results with other exploration data, providing critical insights to guide drilling and resource assessment programs, contributing to the discovery of new mineral assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement geophysical survey programs (ground and airborne) for mineral exploration targets.
• Process and interpret geophysical data using specialized software (e.g., Oasis Montaj, Geosoft).
• Integrate geophysical datasets with geological, geochemical, and drilling information to create comprehensive subsurface models.

• Prepare detailed geophysical reports, interpretations, and recommendations for exploration strategy.
• Stay current with advancements in geophysical technology and methodologies relevant to mineral exploration .

Requirements
