Job summary

Alfred H Knight is seeking 4 Sample Preparers in Rustenburg to join the operations team. You will be responsible for packing, sorting, transferring and drying samples and performing crushing, pulverising and screening of geological materials according to AHK procedures.

Essential duties include accurate sampling, record keeping, and timely submission of shift sheets. You will work with senior staff and support client needs while maintaining confidentiality and integrity.

Qualifications

• Essential: Inspecting/weighing commodities
• Sampling of commodities at premises or warehouses/mines
• Maintain accurate records and auditable documentation
• Submit tally/shift sheets daily
• Assist in prep area during downtime

Responsibilities

• Pack, sort, transfer and dry samples as per SOPs
• Crushing, pulverising and screening of geological materials
• Record times, shift sheets and prepare invoices fairly
• Follow supervisor instructions and maintain confidentiality
• Assist senior staff and external parties for client benefit
