Qualifications

• Proven experience as Generator Maintenance Technician or in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of diesel and gas engine mechanics and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with automatic transfer switches and control panels.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work independently on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel and gas generator sets.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues affecting generator performance.
• Conduct load testing and performance analysis of generator units.
• Install new generator sets and associated transfer switches according to specifications.
• Troubleshoot fuel, exhaust, cooling, and control systems.
• Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future maintenance.
