Job summary

Oude Werf Hotel in Stellenbosch is seeking a General Attendant to create a tidy, clean and safe environment for guests and staff. The role includes a range of housekeeping and delivery tasks to support daily operations.

The position is on-site, fixed-term, with shifts including weekends and public holidays. Candidates should have a can-do attitude and a proven attendance record, ready to contribute to the hotel’s image and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in the same or/and similar positions.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Excellent attendance and performance track record.
• Must have a can-do attitude and follow through on actions in a timely way with minimum supervision.
• Demonstrate tenacity and the ability to perform in fast moving environment.

We are looking to recruit a General Attendant, whose purpose is to create a tidy, clean, neat and safe environment for the hotel guest and staff and to assist in a wide variety of basic delivery and housekeeping jobs as required by the needs of the business and to upkeep the image of the company.
