Job summary

Air Liquide is seeking a Process & Gas Applications Engineer to identify and deliver gas-based solutions that improve process efficiency and sustainability across customer facilities. You will lead audits, engineer innovative technologies, and manage pilot trials on-site to prove performance and ROI.

The role requires a university degree in Chemical, Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years in industrial process engineering with a commercial orientation.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial process engineering within mineral processing or similar industries.
• Demonstrated robust commercial experience or attitude.
• Minimum 5 years in Business Development or strategy consulting.
• Proven track record of end-to-end process development and optimization.
• Ability to write clear, concise memos for decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Identify, design and deliver high-impact industrial gas solutions to improve process efficiency and sustainability.
• Lead deep-dive process audits at manufacturing sites and engineer gas-based technologies.
• Manage pilot trials and demonstrate ROI to secure long-term contracts.
• Design gas control skids, injection lances or sparging systems for plant integration.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and conduct HAZOP reviews.
