Job summary

Air Liquide is seeking a Process & Gas Applications Engineer to identify and deliver high-impact industrial gas solutions that improve process efficiency, yield, and sustainability across customer facilities. You will lead audits, design gas-based technologies, and run pilot trials on-site, while partnering with commercial teams to build ROI cases for new long-term contracts.

Qualifications

University degree in Chemical, Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering.
5+ years of industrial process engineering in mineral processing or similar.
Nice to have understanding of Industrial Gas business.
Minimum 5 years business development or strategy consulting.
Proven track record of end-to-end process development and optimization.
Ability to write clear, concise memos for decision-making.

Responsibilities

Lead deep-dive process audits at manufacturing sites and engineer innovative gas-based solutions.
Design and deploy gas-based technologies and manage pilot trials on the plant floor.
Install temporary gas equipment, monitor performance data and troubleshoot deviations in real-time.
Develop ROI business cases from trial data to secure long-term contracts.
Collaborate with commercial teams as the technical SME and present solutions to plant managers.
