Job summary

Labournet seeks a Fund Finance Manager (Private Equity) to lead financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance across its Cape Town portfolio. You will engage with investors, auditors and regulators, ensuring robust controls and timely reporting.

You will oversee fund administration, NAV calculations, capital calls and distributions, while supporting the investment team in complex structures and cross-border requirements. Strong IFRS and multi-jurisdiction experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) is mandatory.
• 5+ years PQE in fund management or asset management, private equity preferred.
• Approximately 3 years in senior finance or fund accounting roles with stakeholder engagement.
• Proven expertise in financial control, fund accounting and financial reporting in complex investment environments.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and review capabilities.
• Experience across multiple international jurisdictions and with regulators is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting and tax compliance across entities and funds.
• Prepare/review IFRS-based financial statements and quarterly management accounts.
• Coordinate external audits and investor reporting.
• Ensure compliance with LPAs, side letters and advisory agreements across jurisdictions.
• Oversee NAV calculations, capital calls and distributions.
• Support portfolio deal structuring, tax efficiency and valuations.
• Provide coaching and guidance to finance team.
