Job summary

JTC Group in Cape Town seeks an experienced Assistant Manager in Fund Accounting to lead a team delivering financial statements, NAV valuations and management accounts. You will coordinate tasks, coach staff, and ensure timely, accurate reporting for allocated clients while maintaining high service levels.

The role requires a professional accounting qualification, CA(SA)/ACCA/CIMA membership, and 3–5 years' PQE in finance or funds administration.

Qualifications

• Qualified accounting background with professional body membership (CA(SA)/ACCA/CIMA) is required.
• 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in finance/investment funds admin.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and fund administration processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team delivering financial statements, NAV valuations and management accounts.
• Coach staff, allocate tasks and monitor performance against deadlines.
• Review work, provide training and ensure quality, accuracy and timeliness.
