Job summary

Staff Solutions Recruitment is seeking a Finance Officer in the Eastern Cape to manage daily fund collection, ledger registration, FX settlement and bank reconciliations within a busy finance team.

You will prepare fund revenue/ expenditure plans, support budget control, and compile capital reports for shareholders while liaising with auditors and ensuring compliance with SA financial policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or National Diploma with relevant experience.
• Professional certification (preferred) and experience in FX settlement and bank reconciliations.
• 3–5 years of experience; familiarity with South Africa's local financial policies.

Responsibilities

• Daily fund collection and payment; ledger registration and FX settlement.
• Manage bank account information and bank payment approvals.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and fund revenue/expenditure plans.
• Assist finance manager and coordinate with auditors; file financial documents.
• Support budget control and capital reports for shareholders.
