Job summary

Staff Solutions is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage daily fund collection and payments, reconciliation, and financial reporting. The role involves currency verification, bank procedures, and collaboration with auditors.

You will support the Finance Manager with budgeting and capital reporting in a dynamic South African environment. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years’ experience, a degree in accounting/finance, and familiarity with South Africa’s financial policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or National Diploma with relevant experience.
• Professional Certification (preferred).
• Foreign exchange settlement and currency verification.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Payment approval procedures.
• 3-5 years’ experience.
• Familiar with South Africa’s local financial policies.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily fund collection and payment, ledger registration, foreign exchange settlement.
• Manage bank reconciliations and fund inventory; prepare monthly bank balance reconciliations.
• Prepare fund revenue and expenditure plans and daily budget control.
• Submit capital reports per shareholders’ requirements.
• Cooperate with financial auditors and provide relevant financial documents.
• Assist in other daily financial and administrative work as assigned by Finance Manager.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for daily fund collection and payment, ledger registration, foreign exchange


• settlement, foreign currency verification, and other related tasks


• Responsible for managing bank account information, docking with the bank's various payment approval procedures


• Keep and manage receipts, checks and other important financial documents.


• Responsible for bank reconciliation and fund inventory work and preparing monthly bank balance reconciliation statements.


• Responsible for the preparation of fund revenue and expenditure plans and budget control of daily fund payments


• Responsible for submitting various capital reports in accordance with shareholder requirements


• Cooperate with financial auditors and provide relevant financial documents.


• Assist in other daily financial and administrative work assigned by the Finance Manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or National Diploma with relevant experience


• Professional Certification (preferred)


• Foreign exchange settlement and currency verification
