Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Remote Project Manager to drive supply chain optimization initiatives. You will lead cross-functional teams in operations, logistics, IT, and procurement to identify inefficiencies and implement cost-effective solutions for a more agile, resilient supply chain.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of project management experience focused on supply chain and logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with a specialization in supply chain and logistics.
• Proven experience managing projects focused on process improvement, system implementation, or inventory management.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics operations, and procurement strategies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, and experience with remote team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of supply chain optimization projects.
• Analyze existing supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for all project phases.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to implement new systems and processes.
• Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Communicate project progress, key findings, and recommendations to stakeholders through regular reports and presentations.
