Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Environmental Science, Law, or related field with an energy focus.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in energy policy analysis, research, or advocacy.
• Strong understanding of energy markets, renewable energy technologies, and climate change issues.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and research skills.
• Proven ability to communicate complex policy issues clearly in writing and verbally.
• Experience working in a remote capacity is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Research and analyze national and international energy policies, regulations, and market trends.
• Evaluate the impact of proposed policies on the energy sector, including economic, environmental, and social considerations.
• Develop policy recommendations and strategies to support the transition to clean and sustainable energy sources.
• Prepare comprehensive policy briefs, reports, and presentations for government bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders.
• Engage in consultations and discussions with various parties to gather input and build consensus on policy matters.
• Monitor legislative developments and advise on compliance and strategic adaptation.
