Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Construction Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations on multiple sites around the Pretoria region, ensuring project plans, timelines and safety standards are met while coordinating remote communication with site teams.

The role demands strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving abilities, plus proficiency with digital remote monitoring tools to report progress to project managers from a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction supervisory or management role.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in using digital tools for remote monitoring, communication, and reporting.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and tasks concurrently in a remote capacity.
• National Diploma in Building or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Remotely supervise day-to-day construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
• Monitor and enforce strict health and safety regulations on all assigned sites.
• Coordinate and manage on-site personnel, including subcontractors and tradespeople.
• Conduct regular remote inspections using visual aids and reporting tools to assess progress and quality.
• Liaise with project managers and other stakeholders to report on site conditions and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure materials and equipment are being used efficiently and appropriately.
