Job summary
Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a highly competent Remote Site Engineer to provide essential engineering support for construction projects near Vereeniging. This fully remote role lets you apply your civil construction expertise while coordinating with on-site teams, project managers, and stakeholders across Gauteng.
You will review plans, support quality assurance, analyze site reports, manage RFIs and change orders, and help drive timely decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Construction Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of site engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- Experience with remote coordination and project management.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote technical guidance to site construction teams.
- Review plans, blueprints, and specs for constructability.
- Develop and implement quality control programs for construction activities.
- Analyze site reports and data to identify risks.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to resolve technical issues and manage RFIs.
