Browns Jewellers is seeking a skilled .NET/C# developer to design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications, build secure APIs, and integrate with internal and third-party platforms. You’ll work across the full software lifecycle and leverage AI-assisted development to boost productivity while upholding strong engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Information Systems
• 3–5 years' experience developing production software

Responsibilities

About the Role

You'll partner closely with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and develop secure, scalable solutions that improve efficiency across the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications
• Build secure APIs and integrations between internal and third-party platforms
• Develop modern front-end and back-end solutions using .NET and C#
• Design and optimise SQL databases for performance and reliability
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while maintaining high engineering standards
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously enhance existing applications
• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that create real business value

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or Information Systems
• 3–5 years' experience developing production software

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with .NET and C#
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture and clean coding principles
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Advanced SQL skills, including schema design, query optimisation and performance tuning
• Experience with Git and modern CI/CD practices
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Experience debugging, supporting and maintaining production systems

Advantageous

Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as:
