Role involves potting training support, outings to parks and activities, light housekeeping, and ongoing parent communication. A background check and references are required; driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Childminder or Nanny for toddlers/young children.
• Knowledge of development milestones and age-appropriate activities.
• Excellent communication with parents and children.
• Patient, reliable, and responsible approach.
• Ability to prepare simple, healthy meals for children.
• Valid driver’s license preferred, safe driving history.
• First Aid/CPR certification is advantageous.
• Legal eligibility to work in South Africa.
• Strong references from previous families and willing to undergo a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for two children aged 3 and 6.
• Plan and implement educational and recreational activities.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks.
• Assist with potty training and hygiene routines.
• Ensure safety and supervise during play and outings.
• Manage nap times and bedtime routines.
• Perform light housekeeping related to children’s areas.
• Communicate daily with parents about activities and development.
• Chaperone outings to parks, playdates, and school activities.
