Qualifications

• ≈5 years' experience in diverse development environments.
• Back-end: Dotnet Core (v5+), C#, REST services.
• Databases: Microsoft SQL Server.
• Front-end: HTML5, JavaScript (ES6), JQuery, Vanilla.js, CSS3, Bootstrap 4, State Management (Redux), RXJS, Typescript.
• Experience with CI/CD and Azure DevOps/Cloud.
• Strong understanding of scalable application design principles and automated testing.
• Advantageous: Functional & Design Programming experience.
• Ability to adapt and modernize interfaces using the latest technologies.
• Commitment to delivering clean, testable code with unit testing.
• Proficiency in using AI-enabled productivity tools, such as Copilot.

Investec Sandton is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer who is passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions and taking end-to-end responsibility for delivery. You will work as part of a tight-knit, collaborative team that embraces change and thrives on new challenges — both technical and personal. This role sits within the Pre-Transactional & MarTech space within Client Experience Technology (CXT). In its current remit the team doesn't support Investec's transactional or payment technologies or platforms.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications, as well as troubleshooting and debugging issues. You will work across both front-end and back-end technologies, leveraging a wide range of coding languages, frameworks, and third-party libraries. We are looking for someone proactive — an individual who questions processes, drives efficiencies, and takes accountability for outcomes.
