Placements24 seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build, and deploy scalable web applications powering cutting-edge financial solutions. You’ll work across the stack, from UI to database, in a hybrid setup combining Sandton office collaboration with remote work.

You’ll join a fast-paced FinTech engineering team, delivering robust software, CI/CD pipelines, and secure architectures while mentoring junior developers and staying current with industry best practices.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Strong experience with back-end languages and frameworks (Python/Django/Flask, Node.js/Express, Java/Spring).
• Solid understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and ORMs.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• RESTful API design and development.
• Knowledge of software design patterns, testing methodologies, and clean code practices.

About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and innovative FinTech company, is seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Developer to join their growing engineering team. This role is instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable web applications that power our cutting-edge financial solutions. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining the collaborative energy of our Sandton office with the flexibility of remote work. You will work across the entire technology stack, from front-end user interfaces to back-end services and databases, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. The ideal candidate has a passion for clean code, a strong understanding of modern development practices, and experience in building high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications and APIs.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and ORMs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and testing methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
