Placements24 is seeking a highly focused Recruiter for our Richards Bay office, specializing in Energy & Utilities. You will source and place talent across renewables, traditional power, and utility infrastructure, managing full-cycle recruitment from posting to onboarding.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in energy sector recruiting, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to building candidate pipelines and client relationships in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of recruitment experience in Energy & Utilities.
• Strong understanding of technical roles in power generation, renewables, and utilities.
• Proven ability to source passive candidates and build networks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Identify and attract candidates for Electrical/Mechanical Engineers, Project Managers, Environmental Specialists, Grid Technicians, and Safety Officers within Energy & Utilities.
• Develop sourcing strategies to build a strong pipeline of qualified professionals.
• Screen candidates, perform technical assessments, and conduct interviews.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment including job postings, candidate engagement, offers and onboarding.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients in energy and utilities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tech advancements, and talent shortages.
• Utilize ATS and recruitment tools to manage candidate data and progress.
• Provide market insights and advisory on talent acquisition strategies.
• Maintain high candidate experience throughout the process.
• Achieve and exceed recruitment targets and KPIs.
