Job summary

Greys Personnel is recruiting a highly organised Logistics Coordinator for a Johannesburg South role. You will coordinate fuel deliveries, manage orders and stock, liaison with suppliers, transporters and drivers, and ensure accurate logistics reporting.

Ideal candidates have proven logistics experience, strong admin skills, and the ability to work under pressure. You will monitor deliveries in real time, provide ETA updates and keep detailed records across fleets and stock.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 and proven logistics experience.
• Experience with fuel logistics and fleet management advantageous.
• Strong admin, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule fuel deliveries, pickups and dispatches.
• Process and monitor customer orders for accuracy.
• Allocate loads to drivers and suppliers.
• Liaise with transporters, suppliers, drivers, customers and internal departments.
• Monitor deliveries and provide real-time ETA updates.
• Proactively communicate delays and changes.
• Monitor fuel and stock levels and complete daily reconciliations.
• Manage POD, delivery notes and logistics documents.
• Reconcile orders, deliveries and stock records.
• Assist with fleet management, including driver schedules and vehicle maintenance.
• Monitor fleet performance and compliance.
• Assist with incident reporting and corrective actions.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly logistics, stock and fleet reports.
• Ensure logistics processes comply with relevant regulations and internal procedures.
• Monitor client fuel levels and coordinate replenishment requirements.
• Assist with resolving delivery delays and discrepancies.
