Farm Manager SA seeks an experienced front-of-house manager for its Plettenberg Bay area operation in the Western Cape. You will be the principal contact for guests, blending warm hospitality with disciplined operational control.

Responsibilities include managing reservations, leading staff, hosting tastings and ensuring high presentation standards while coordinating with the kitchen for seamless service.

Formación

• Previous front-of-house or hospitality experience at a wine estate.
• Strong wine knowledge and willingness to learn.
• Leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Welcome guests and set a warm, professional tone.
• Manage reservations, enquiries, table planning and guest communications.
• Lead front-of-house staff with daily briefings and rosters.
• Host tastings and wine sales with guest recommendations.
• Monitor service standards and resolve guest issues promptly.
• Coordinate with kitchen and back-of-house for smooth service.
• Oversee stock, POS cash-up and end-of-day reporting.
• Provide concise operational reporting on bookings, sales and guest feedback.
