B2B Better is a UK podcast and owned media agency. We help B2B companies turn their point of view into pipeline.
We don’t treat podcasts as content marketing. We build them as commercial infrastructure: shows that open doors to target accounts, give sales teams credible material, and grow into a media asset the client owns.
We work with a mix of tech, consulting, industrial and financial services brands, and we handle strategy, production, distribution and sales enablement end to end.
The role
You’ll sit between our production team and our clients, making sure everything that goes out is sharp, on-brief and earning its place.
You won’t be editing video or designing graphics. Your job is to watch, read and check them with a critical eye, then give clear feedback that makes the next version better.
You may also be asked to sit in on and manage recording sessions, keeping guests comfortable, the session on track and the production team set up for a smooth edit.
You’ll also own how our clients’ content is scheduled and measured, and bring fresh social ideas to the table. You’ll work across several client shows at once, so organisation matters as much as taste.
What you’ll do
Review and feedback on production assets
- Review episode copy, show notes, titles, social captions and newsletters for clarity, accuracy, tone and brand fit
- Watch full episodes, clips and short-form video cuts and give specific, timestamped feedback on pacing, hooks, captions and on-screen text
- Check graphics, thumbnails and audiograms against client brand guidelines and platform specs
- Act as the final quality check before anything goes to a client or goes live
Recording sessions
- Sit in on and manage podcast recordings, remote or in person
- Brief guests and hosts beforehand, and keep sessions running to time and to the agreed structure
- Check audio and video quality as you go and flag issues early
- Note standout moments during recording so we know which clips and social content to pull later
Analytics and reporting
- Build and maintain analytics dashboards across podcast platforms, YouTube, LinkedIn and other social channels
- Pull together regular performance reports for each client show
- Spot what’s working and what isn’t, and turn the numbers into clear recommendations for the team and the client
Social media ideas, scheduling and strategy
- Come up with new social media ideas and concepts for each show, from recurring formats to one-off campaigns
- Pitch creative ideas to the team and clients, then help turn the approved ones into a repeatable content plan
- Plan and schedule social content across our client base using scheduling tools
- Shape channel strategy for each show: what to post, where, when and why
- Keep content calendars accurate and on track across multiple accounts
- Stay on top of platform changes, formats and B2B social best practice
Working with AI
- Use AI tools day to day to speed up review, reporting, repurposing and research
- Help us test and improve the AI workflows behind our production and reporting
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years in a marketing role, ideally in B2B, at an agency or in-house
- A sharp eye for copy, with strong written English and the confidence to edit other people’s work
- Comfort reviewing video assets and giving clear, constructive feedback (you don’t need to edit video yourself)
- Confidence managing recording sessions and working with senior guests and hosts
- A steady flow of creative social ideas, plus the judgement to know which ones will land with a B2B audience
- Hands-on experience with social scheduling tools and running multiple accounts
- Confidence with analytics: reading platform data, building simple dashboards and explaining what the numbers mean
- Genuine comfort using AI tools in your everyday workflow
- Strong organisation, so you can juggle several clients and deadlines without things slipping
- A self-starter attitude: you work well remotely and communicate proactively
