Job summary

Pedros seeks a New Business Manager to identify and progress franchise and corporate store opportunities across Centurion and Gauteng. You will manage a pipeline, assess sites, and build relationships with developers, landlords, and potential franchisees to support growth aligned with brand standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, Property or related field.
• 3+ years in business development, franchise sales, or related commercial role.
• Experience in prospecting, pipeline management, relationship development and progressing opportunities.
• Experience in QSR, retail, franchise or property industries preferred.
• Exposure to franchise agreements, site evaluation and negotiations advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Source, build, and maintain a healthy pipeline of franchise and corporate store opportunities.
• Prospect, screen, and qualify leads against investment, operational and brand criteria.
• Progress opportunities through lead-to-approval and contracting stages with stakeholders.
• Maintain CRM and pipeline records and drive conversion.
• Conduct market, competitor, demographic and trading-area research.
• Assess prospective sites against location, accessibility, visibility and catchment criteria.
• Prepare initial site assessments for review by senior management.
• Build relationships with developers, agents, landlords, brokers, and franchisees.
• Coordinate site visits, meetings, and follow-ups.
• Track pipeline activity and growth targets; ensure approvals align with governance.
• Support business case, commercial proposals, franchise documentation and updates.
