Job summary

West Coast Personnel seeks a practical, self-motivated leader to support franchisees across the Coastal region, driving sales, product uptake and store performance while upholding high operational standards.

You will train staff, visit stores, conduct audits, and coach teams on products, systems and customer service. The role requires coordinating openings, pursuing new opportunities and reporting on performance with extensive regional travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in retail, franchise operations, sales, operations management or business development.
• Proven sales and business development experience.
• Experience in store openings, operational implementation, training, coaching and audits.
• Franchise experience is highly advantageous; multi-site retail experience preferred.
• Automotive, battery, FMCG or related retail experience is advantageous.
• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Retail Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations Management or related field preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office, Excel and reporting skills.
• Ability to analyse business performance and apply sound commercial principles.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship management skills.
• Ability to influence business owners and store teams, address non-compliance and manage competing priorities.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Coastal region.

Responsibilities

• Support franchisees through strong relationships and regular store visits.
• Drive sales, product uptake and improvements in store performance.
• Conduct audits, monitor operational standards and resolve compliance issues.
• Train and coach franchisees and staff on products, systems and customer service.
• Coordinate new store openings and provide post-launch support.
• Develop new franchise opportunities, locations and territories.
• Report on performance and recommend operational improvements.
