Job summary

Solevo Group in Germiston is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to partner with cluster finance and commercial teams, delivering high-quality financial analysis, forecasting and decision support. The role moves beyond reporting to understanding drivers of performance.

You will translate financial and operational information into actions for management, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling in a manufacturing environment with a diverse product mix.

Qualifications

Grade 12 (Matric).
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Accounting, Economics or related discipline.
Strong financial modelling and analytical capability.
Advanced Microsoft Excel capability.
CIMA / CGMA qualification or CA(SA) / ACCA or equivalent.
Experience using ERP and BI/reporting tools.
3-5 years' relevant FP&A, commercial finance or management accounting experience.
Experience in manufacturing environment.
Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and commercial analysis.

Responsibilities

Analyse monthly financial and operational performance against budget, forecast and prior periods.
Provide detailed variance analysis explaining what happened, why it happened and actions for management.
Evaluate pricing decisions, new products, customer opportunities and commercial initiatives.
Develop financial models and business cases to support investment decisions.
Monitor profitability by customer, product, channel and business segment.
Track working-capital performance and identify cash-release opportunities.
Prepare monthly performance packs and dashboards for management.
