The ideal candidate holds a metallurgy/engineering degree and at least five years in production management within a foundry, with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities to drive improvements and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a production management role in a foundry environment.
• Strong knowledge of foundry operations and physical metallurgy.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all production activities including scheduling, planning, and execution.
• Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and optimize resources.
• Monitor production data to identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across processes.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to meet customer specifications.
• Develop and manage the production team with coaching and performance reviews.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Sales for timely delivery of orders.
• Oversee maintenance of production equipment and facilities.
• Monitor and control production costs to maintain profitability.
