Sustain Media is a remote, US East Coast–hours oriented SEO and Google Ads agency serving home-service businesses. We seek a founding Google Ads Strategist to shape our fledgling division, own client books, and build AI-powered systems to drive calls and booked jobs.

The role emphasizes attribution, strategy, and market-building with a senior, founder-led team. You’ll own 20–25 accounts, set up tracking, and lead new account builds from zero.

Qualifications

• Proven results running lead generation campaigns for local home service businesses.
• Hands-on experience with Search, Performance Max, and Local Service Ads.
• Strong conversion tracking and attribution skills; verify leads with client data.
• Ability to build an account from zero and justify major choices.
• Data-driven with strategic recommendations, not just dashboards.
• Strong written communication; daily Slack use.
• Experience with call tracking and mapping offline conversions.
• Familiar with CallRail or similar.
• Knowledge of Google Business Profile and local SEO with paid search.
• Agency experience managing multiple accounts.

Responsibilities

• Own roughly 20 to 25 accounts end to end; collaborate with another PPC specialist.
• Lead generation campaigns to drive phone calls, form fills, and booked jobs.
• Own conversion tracking and attribution across all accounts.
• Build new accounts from zero: keyword research, structure, ad copy, bidding, geo-targeting, tracking, launch.
• Make judgment calls on bid strategies and use of Performance Max.
• Collaborate with development and SEO teams on landing pages and offers.
• Build systems with AI team to automate audits, term reviews, tracking checks, and reporting.
• Write the monthly plan and narrative based on data.
