Job summary

Kabstrading Co is looking for a Warehouse Operative to support loading, unloading and movement of goods within a busy warehouse. The role involves preparing items for dispatch, recording locations and conducting routine stock checks.

You will safely operate forklifts and pallet trucks, maintain stock accuracy and help keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with health and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing materials and products, including 20-foot and 40-foot containers.
• Moving materials between loading areas, delivery vehicles and designated warehouse storage areas.
• Identifying, labelling and recording materials and their storage locations to support accurate inventory control.
• Preparing finished products for dispatch, including locating, picking, packing, re-bagging and loading products.
• Operating forklifts, pallet trucks and other material-handling equipment safely and responsibly.
• Conducting cycle counts and assisting with monthly stock counts.
• Reporting stock discrepancies or warehouse-related issues when identified.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
• Complying with all company warehouse procedures, health and safety requirements and operational guidelines.
• Performing other reasonable warehouse-related duties as required.
