Job summary

Kabstrading Co in Bloemfontein is seeking a Warehouse Operator to load, unload and move materials within the warehouse. You will prepare products for dispatch, locate, pick, pack and re-bag goods, and ensure accurate inventory locations and stock counts.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and other handling equipment, recording stock discrepancies, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and complying with health and safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products, including containers.
• Move materials between loading areas, vehicles and storage areas.
• Identify, label and record materials and storage locations for inventory control.
• Prepare finished products for dispatch: locate, pick, pack and re-bag.
• Operate forklifts, pallet trucks and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with monthly stock counts.
• Report stock discrepancies or warehouse issues when identified.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
• Comply with warehouse procedures, health and safety requirements and guidelines.
• Perform other reasonable warehouse duties as required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing materials and products, including 20-foot and 40-foot containers.
• Moving materials between loading areas, delivery vehicles and designated warehouse storage areas.
• Identifying, labelling and recording materials and their storage locations to support accurate inventory control.
• Preparing finished products for dispatch, including locating, picking, packing, re-bagging and loading products.
• Operating forklifts, pallet trucks and other material-handling equipment safely and responsibly.
• Conducting cycle counts and assisting with monthly stock counts.
• Reporting stock discrepancies or warehouse-related issues when identified.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
• Complying with all company warehouse procedures, health and safety requirements and operational guidelines.
• Performing other reasonable warehouse-related duties as required.
