Job summary

Marvel Placement Consultants in Boksburg seeks a Driver to manage collection and delivery of goods, ensuring safe, timely transport and accurate labelling and paperwork.

You will maintain vehicle logs, assist with stock checks, and uphold Health and Safety standards while coordinating with Stores and Sales teams. A valid Code 10 license and forklift licence are required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Execute collection and delivery of goods as instructed by Stores Manager.
• Transport goods safely and timeously.
• Assist with receipt of inventory and verification of quantity and quality.
• Assist with validating shelf stock when requested by Sales.
• Assist with inventory picking and preparing goods for dispatch.
• Ensure correct labelling, packaging, and updating of waybills.
• Maintain a clean, organised warehouse and vehicle environment.
• Adhere to Health and Safety Plan and procedures.
• Assist with inventory packing and organisation for easy access.
• Assist with quarterly and unplanned stock takes.
• Maintain up-to-date logbook for company vehicles and accuracy.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Submit weekly vehicle inspection reports for all vehicles.
• Ensure company vehicles are clean, well maintained, and roadworthy.
• Perform any other duties as instructed by Management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute the collection and delivery of goods and other relevant items as instructed by the Stores Manager.
• Ensure that all goods are transported and delivered safely and timeously.
• Assist with the receipt of inventory and verification of quantity and quality when required.
• Assist with physically validating shelf stock when requested by the Sales team.
• Assist with inventory picking and preparing goods for dispatch when required.
• Ensure correct labelling, packaging, and updating of waybills for dispatched items.
• Maintain a consistently clean and organised warehouse and vehicle environment.
• Strictly adhere to the company's Health and Safety Plan, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with inventory packing and organisation to ensure easy accessibility.
• Assist with quarterly stock takes and unscheduled stock takes as directed by Management.
• Maintain an up-to-date logbook for company vehicles and ensure its accuracy.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any vehicle issues, damages, or maintenance requirements to Management.
• Submit weekly vehicle inspection reports for all company vehicles.
• Ensure that company vehicles are kept clean, well maintained, and in a roadworthy condition.
• Perform any other reasonable duties related to the position as instructed by Management.
