Job summary

SKG Properties is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator & Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will operate a forklift to move materials and assist as a driver within our warehouse facilities.

Responsibilities include receiving stock, offloading, palletising, dispatch, routine forklift inspection, and maintaining inventory records. The role requires adherence to safety procedures and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or relevant certificate/qualification.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Psychometric tests are required for shortlisted candidates.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator & Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move materials and products as well as assist as a Driver.

RESPOSIBILITIES:

• Follow safety procedure and wear protective clothing.
• Accurately revieve stock from suppliers
• Offload materials and merchandise and palletised stock items from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned places, in the warehouse
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets/crates for storage or dispatch
• Effeciently dispatch solid stock to customers
• Load materials and merchandise and move from storage areas into trucks/containers for dispoatch
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Transport raw material to production workstations
• Inspect Forklift to determine needs for repirs and perform regular maintenance
• Maintain updated records of inventory and activity logs
• Assist in maintaining security over stock
• Participate in fequent variencies
• Maintain a safe an orderly environment
• Import knowledge on Students
• Any other reasonable instructions within the scope of work

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 or relevant certificate/qualification
• Experince in a similar role

Psychometric tests are required to be undertaken by shortlisted candidates.
