Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Food Safety Manager or Sanitation Manager in food service.
• In-depth knowledge of HACCP and health codes.
• Experience delivering staff training on food safety and sanitation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for training and management.
• Ability to conduct inspections and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and sanitation programs for Stellenbosch locations.
• Conduct regular kitchen and storage inspections for hygiene compliance.
• Train kitchen staff, servers, and others on food safety practices.
• Monitor handling, preparation, cooking and storage per HACCP and local codes.
• Oversee inventory of cleaning supplies and pest control services.
