Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager in Rustenburg, North West to oversee procurement, logistics, warehousing and inventory management. You will design strategies to improve service levels, reduce costs, and drive performance across the supply chain.

Lead and develop a diverse team, implement Lean and Six Sigma where applicable, and ensure ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) are leveraged for optimal planning and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 6–8 years of progressive SCM experience in FMCG strongly preferred.
• Proven experience leading large supply chain teams and optimizing procurement, logistics, and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement, logistics, warehousing and inventory management.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance service levels.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and 3PL partners.
• Implement and manage inventory control systems to avoid stockouts and reduce excess stock.
• Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team with a culture of accountability.
• Use data analytics to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
