Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Quality Assurance Technician for a Queenstown FMCG manufacturing facility. You will conduct regular quality checks, perform laboratory tests, and document findings to ensure product integrity and safety.

This hands-on role requires attention to detail, knowledge of GMP and HACCP, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as QA Technician or in a similar quality control role.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, testing procedures, and data recording.
• Familiarity with GMP and HACCP principles is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality checks and inspections on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products according to established protocols.
• Conduct laboratory tests and analyses to verify product specifications, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Document all quality control activities, test results, and deviations accurately in the relevant systems.
• Identify and report any quality defects or non-conformities to the Quality Manager and assist in root cause analysis.
• Ensure adherence to GMP and other relevant quality management systems.
• Assist in maintaining calibration records for laboratory equipment and production quality tools.
