Placements24 is seeking a skilled FMCG Procurement Specialist in Upington to source raw materials, packaging, and services for production. You will evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong vendor relationships to support operations and strategic goals.

The role requires a solid understanding of procurement principles and FMCG experience, with a focus on cost savings and reliable supply chains.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials, packaging, and indirect goods and services to spec.
• Identify, evaluate, and select new suppliers meeting ethical, quality and financial requirements.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing and contracts to save costs and ensure supply.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance and contracts.
• Monitor market trends and commodity prices to anticipate disruptions.
• Collaborate with R&D, Production and Finance to meet procurement needs.
