Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a strategic FMCG Procurement Officer in Mahikeng, North West to manage sourcing and purchasing of raw materials and supplies. You will negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and monitor market dynamics to secure quality inputs at competitive prices.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in SCM and a minimum of 3 years in procurement, preferably FMCG, with strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SCM or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably FMCG.
• Proven negotiation skills and experience in managing supplier contracts.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials, packaging, and supplies for FMCG production.
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
