Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Logistics Coordinator for our client’s operations in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. The role focuses on coordinating transportation, managing shipments, and liaising with carriers and stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective logistics in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

You will handle daily scheduling, documentation, and performance tracking, contributing to operational efficiency and a smooth supply chain in a major port city.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of logistics coordination experience in FMCG or similar sector.
• Strong knowledge of transportation documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient with logistics software and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics operations, schedule shipments, and track deliveries.
• Liaise with transport providers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely, cost-effective movement of goods.
• Prepare and process shipping documents including bills of lading and customs declarations.
• Monitor shipment progress and address delays or issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of logistics activities, including costs and inventory levels.
