Job summary

Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a Field Sales Representative for Soweto and surrounding areas to drive FMCG product sales, visit retailers, secure orders and maintain brand visibility.

You will build strong retailer relationships, manage stock levels, and meet sales targets while providing feedback on market trends and customer needs. A self-starter with good communication and a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage time and meet sales targets.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Regularly visit assigned retail outlets to promote and sell FMCG products, securing orders and achieving sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with store owners, managers, and staff.
• Ensure optimal product placement, stock levels, and merchandising standards in all retail outlets.
• Identify opportunities for increased sales and brand visibility within assigned territories.
• Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to the sales management team.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and efficiently.
