Job summary

The South African Breweries is seeking a Distribution Planner in Sandton to execute daily routes for Distribution Centres using SAP, WinRoute, and SharePoint. You will ensure KPI targets are met while maintaining customer service and productivity, working closely with distribution teams.

Minimum requirements include a 3-year qualification and 2-3 years of FMCG planning experience, with strong analytical, planning, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• 3-year tertiary qualification is required.
• 2-3 years of planning experience in FMCG environment is required.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act is advantageous.
• Strong numerical and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain interrelated system platforms (SAP, WinRoute, SharePoint).
• Execute SAP master data implementation protocols.
• Maintain the WinRoute planning database, optimise settings and ensure governance across all master data.
• Maintain the WinRoute road network database and obtain accurate speed data from maps.
• Create daily distribution load plans in line with KPI targets.
• Plan daily loads to maximise volume capacity and efficiency.
• Schedule load plans for multiple depots within required timeframes.
• Monitor load plan execution and provide feedback to drive improvement.
• Engage daily with on-site Expeditors and DC teams on planning instructions.
• Ensure clear and up-to-date SAP T2 platforms.
• Participate in core project work and drive improvements.
